How long does a home remodel take?
A kitchen remodel takes 8–12 weeks, a bathroom 4–6 weeks, and a whole-home remodel 4–9 months. Permitting in Chicago adds 4–8 weeks upfront. We publish a week-by-week schedule with your contract and send weekly progress updates.
Do I need permits for a remodel in Chicago?
Yes. Any structural, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC work in Chicago requires permits from the Department of Buildings. We handle all permit applications, inspections, and compliance documentation as part of every contract.
What warranty do you offer?
We provide a five-year workmanship warranty on all construction, plus manufacturer warranties on products and materials. If anything we built fails within five years, we come back and fix it at no charge.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold an Illinois general contractor license, carry $2M general liability insurance, and are bonded for your protection. License and insurance certificates are provided with every contract.

Do you offer financing?
Yes. We partner with several home-improvement lenders to offer fixed-rate financing from 6.99% APR with terms from 36 to 144 months. Approval decisions typically arrive within 24 hours.
Can we live in the house during the remodel?
For kitchen and bathroom remodels, most families stay in the home with a temporary kitchen setup. For whole-home remodels, we usually recommend relocating during the heaviest demolition phase (typically 4–6 weeks). We'll discuss your specific situation during the consultation.
