Our approach
Chicago is a landmark city — Victorians, Queen Annes, greystones, bungalows, and mid-century modern homes all under preservation review in some neighborhoods. Our landmark-district experience means we work with the Commission on Chicago Landmarks, not against it.
Landmark-district work moves slowly on purpose. We document every exterior element before demolition, source matching materials (salvaged brick, reproduction trim, restored windows), and present scope to the Commission when required. Inside, we preserve original plaster and millwork wherever practical and reversible.
