Our approach

Kitchens and bathrooms are where remodeling pays back the most — both in daily quality of life and in resale. We build custom cabinetry in our local shop, source stone from two Chicago fabricators, and install everything with the same crews that do our whole-home work.

Most kitchen remodels in Chicago involve moving plumbing or electrical at least a little. We plan layout around appliance specs first, then cabinets, then walkways, so you don't end up with a pretty kitchen you can't cook in. For bathrooms, waterproofing under tile is the detail that separates a five-year bathroom from a fifteen-year bathroom — we use Schluter or equivalent on every wet surface.
